Transferring Cylinders - Web

You've created cylinders, now what? As a web user, you're not typically the one to use them, so this video is to show you how to transfer them to a tech on your team, or a location, and how to maintain tracking or remove them from your workspace's inventory.
Before we get started, keep in mind that transfer can only be the action of moving cylinders as they are today. If you have a batch of disposables that you want to transfer, but you don't want to move the entire batch, go back to our disposables-batching and merging video to find out how to increase or decrease a batch before transferring.
Creating Disposable Cylinders - Web
Let's get started.
Tap the Cylinders icon on the left side of your screen.
You will be able to see all of the tanks in your team's possession and at locations where your cylinders currently reside (as long as 'keep tracking' was toggled on - we'll get to that in a minute).
At the top you'll be able to see two icons, 'Team Cylinders' and 'My Cylinders'.
Tap 'My Cylinders'. You'll be able to see all of the cylinders that are currently in your possession - we get it, you're a web user and these aren't actually 'with you', so we're going to use transfer to get them to the right place or person. Pick which cylinder you're looking to transfer to one of your techs. Tap on that cylinder using the green arrow-button on the far right. You'll be brought to the cylinder Summary page where you can review and edit cylinder details, make commodity adjustments, and consolidate or transfer that cylinder. Tap 'Transfer'. A pop-up menu will appear with 4 options: Facility, User, Workspace, or Team Hero.
If you want to know more about each category, we include a description underneath each type to help you decide the best transfer destination. For this example we're going to transfer to a team hero.
Search your technician by their real name (sorry, hero names won't work here), or their email address. Once they appear in the search, select them.
You might notice a force transfer toggle, which allows you to transfer the tank to that person without waiting for them to accept it. Click 'Transfer', and you're done!
Want to know a faster way to transfer? On your team's cylinder list screen you'll notice a double-arrows icon on the far right of your cylinder. No worries if you have a lot of cylinders, either search your cylinder serial number, re-sort the column order, or use our filter features to find the cylinder or cylinders you need to transfer. Once you find your cylinder, tap those two arrows, and the transfer window will appear. Choose the transfer destination you need - this time, we'll transfer to a facility. Search the facility by name, or by address, and select the correct location.
Keep Tracking Toggle!
In this scenario, you'll notice a Keep Tracking toggle before you confirm your transfer. Toggle on means you want to continue seeing everything that happens to that cylinder, even though it's not in your team's physical possession (maybe you had to leave cylinders onsite for a multi-day project). Toggle off means you're ready to fully transfer the cylinder away from your inventory. Even if the cylinder is not being tracked in your workspace anymore, that doesn't mean you lose the documentation of it - that cylinder still is recorded to every field service order it was used on, so no need to panic!
Choose whether you want to continue tracking, then choose 'Transfer'. You're all set!
