Creating & Assigning FSO's ; Team

Welcome to FMHero Web!

Want this in video form?

This video covers how to create an FSO inside FMHero's web browser and assign it to your techs.

It's important that FSOs are detailed and organized - they are your records of work provided to customers, and an easy way to find out which services have been performed for each asset.

Getting Started!

Tap the 'Field Service Orders' icon on the left side of your screen.

On the far right side of your screen, tap the green 'Create FSO' button.

You will be directed to the FSO creation page. First, add a location. If you haven't created a location yet and don't know how, go back to our location video first. For this video, we're going to use a pre-existing location.

Now add the customer's name, and the contact (if you have it). Next, assign this FSO to the primary tech, and add the purchase order number and any additional notes.

Tap 'Save' and add an FSO name, and you're all done!

Now that you've created and assigned the FSO, all your tech has to do when they get to the location is open the FSO and get to work.

Adding Existing Equipment

Web users can also add existing equipment. If a unit had been scanned into the Heroverse prior to the FSO creation, you'll be able to search for it by scrolling the list of assets at that location, or search by the Manufacturer or Serial Number. When the unit appears, tap it, then tap 'Save' to add it to your FSO.

Reviewing and Completing the FSO

When the tech completes an FSO, it is submitted for review to the service managers and support staff, giving real-time visibility from job site to office for every job, and every piece of equipment and cylinder.

Review the order from the Information screen through each service per unit, adding comments for the technician to make changes to their work, or approving the order as-is and finalizing the documentation. Whether you send the order back to your tech with change requests or approve the work, communication between you and your technician is real-time.

For most assets, your approval completes the FSO. If the asset is a Managed Asset under an AssetOps subscription, your approval instead routes the FSO to the Facility Owner for a required final review - it isn't marked 'Complete' until that review is finished.

Once the FSO is marked 'Complete', the customer copy will be available to you. Tap the 'Get Report' button, where you'll have the option to email a copy of the FSO straight out of FMHero, download the PDF to attach to other documents before sending, or grab the FSO link to include in other communication with your customer.

Nice job powering up with FMHero Web!
